Very flexable
The silicone mat is a great choice to fit under a sink. No reinforcement of the edges, so they can be bent down easily, water could escape. I use a taller capture pan on top of this mat to ensure valve issues are better contained.

not just for under sinks.
Works perfectly on the top of my washing machine. I needed something that I could have the dog stand on while I cut his hair. The lip edge really helps to keep the hair corralled and the hair is easily dumped off the rubbery mat. I have a large one under my kitchen sink why I thought a smaller one would fit perfect on the top of the washing machine. It’s thick enough that his nails don’t damage it. Yet flexible enough to easily dump the hair off. I’m glad the cat doesn’t seem to mind laying on it. Nice advantage, his hair doesn’t stick either unlike the old washing machine protectors I had on it. They were expensive and the hair would stick to them horribly. They always looked dirty, not this mat, it’s a real time saver and the color goes well with the room.
