Quiet, convenient, and works fast
I’ve been using this Pauvoern dehumidifier in my basement and it’s made a noticeable difference in a short time—humidity drops quickly and the space feels much less damp. The continuous drain option is a huge convenience, and the app control makes it easy to check readings and adjust settings without going downstairs. It runs quietly for its size and has been reliable so far. Great value for the money.

Very nice unit and operates as described
I purchased the Pauvoern dehumidifier to remove moisture from my crawl space. I selected this unit because it has a drain tube where i don’t have to go into the crawl space to empty the tank, it also has WiFi control where i can operated the unit from my cell phone.I did have some trouble getting the unit to drain from the drain tube, so i contacted Amazon to troubleshoot, and they were very responsive, even to the point of offering to send me a new unit. As it turned out, my crawl space doesn’t have a perfectly flat floor, and the unit was slightly tilted forward and that was the reason the rear tube was not draining. I shimmed the unit slighty back and now is draining great. The WiFi control is working great and i don’t have to keep on going into the crawl space. I can see on my phone the crawl space temp and humidity, and control all modes of the unit. After resolving a couple hickups, i and very happy with this unit !Also, the unit is very quiet !

Good unit for reducing humidity conditions.
This Dehumidifier worked just as advertised. The water capacity is sufficient, collects water and is easy to maintain. Convenient app to set humidity levels, timer and delay on/off settings. Maintains room comfort levels and is easy to use. Sturdy unit on wheels for moving unit around. Definitely recommend to reduce high humidity conditions.

Will it last ?
lol I was surprised and somewhat disappointed. It seems like it struggles to start up making strange sounds like it can’t hardly start up but once it gets going it does the job very efficiently. I’m quite surprised. If it will last very long remains to be seen but if it does I will be a happy camper because it does the job very very well.

I would have kept it if it’s not for the grinding noise.
It was quiet, compact and works, three stars because the one I received made grinding noise. If it was not for the grinding noise, it would have been five stars. Also, return was a bit complicated because of the UPS guy did not take the package because it does not have a label, per instructions, the carrier will bring printed label, they don’t send the label to the email. I had to call UPS and then Amazon to arrange a pickup time.

I like it, it is worth buying.
This is a great dehumidifer! I’m super like it. I can control it remotely using an app, so I can use it even when I’m not home. That’s my favorite part; it’s so convenient. It also absorbs moisture from the air quickly, helping me keep my bathroom dry that is real help for preventing mold. Overall, I love it and highly recommend it!

Does NOT have WIFI capability
The printed information describing this device is totally in error. It plainly states it has “Smart WIFI humidity control” and one photo shows a cell phone supposedly accessing the TUYA app for remote control. There is nothing smart about this device and there is no WIFI or bluetooth capability. While it does work as a dumb/standalone unit, the fan is noisier than expected. If you are looking for a general dehumidifier it is probably OK but the false advertisement about wireless capability is unforgivable since that was the specific reason I chose it; (to replace an older unit that was remotely controllable via WIFI).

Good price and does the job well
Really happy with the Pauvoern 90-Pint Dehumidifier so far. It does a great job pulling moisture out of my big basement and runs pretty quietly. The Wi-Fi app control is super handy, I can adjust settings without going downstairs. Setup was easy, and I love that it has a timer and a continuous drain option. Overall, solid performance and definitely worth it for the price.

This Pauvoern unit is a portable home appliance on four recessed wheels. It is the same size as a large portable humidifier, but does the opposite job. Just as a humidifier this size is a big step up from tabletop units, this is a serious machine in terms of humidity removal. The times I placed this dehumidifier in new locations in my Calgary basement and ran it for 24 hours continuously, the tank filled with over 10 pounds (4.5 L) of water. Operating the machine on the following days pulled smaller amounts of water from the air since the room had already been dehumidified. I confirmed operation ceases when the water level comes within 2 cm of the tank rim, which is when a float sensor is lifted up to trigger a switch. That full tank held 13.0 pounds of water. The removable tank has a lid and handle that clip onto the top. The tank can be turned sideways to empty the water. Dumping the water over a sink causes spills because of multiple holes and seams. Pouring the water into a bathtub is much less messy. The tank will eventually need cleaning with soap and vinegar, requiring removal of the lid and handle. The handle is released by pressing on a support at one end. The lid can be forcefully pulled off by hand starting from the far left or right, but the plastic could eventually crack. So I find using a screwdriver to pry it up where tabs are located on the lid to be gentler. My tank was a little dirty with yellow and brown stains at the bottom when I received it. The area between the stains was very clean and I saw no residue elsewhere. I am guessing the tank was not kept in a clean place before packing. This is a manufacturing control issue that I resolved by washing the tank before use.The air inlet grill on the back of the machine is noticeably cold due to refrigerant flowing inside. The air outlet on top is very slightly warm. The cold and heat air appear to balance each other so the ambient room temperature does not change. No water drips on the outside of the unit. Equally important, no ice formed in my 20 C basement despite rapid water collection. (I had a tabletop dehumidifier that suffered from constant ice buildup on the outside, making it useless.)The fan on this unit does not cause excessive hum or vibration once running. I only hear the air coming out of the top. The second and highest fan speeds are still loud enough to distract from a quiet sleep (unless you want white noise). So I prefer to run the dehumidifier in the day and turn it off before bedtime when guests are using a basement room. The controls allow setting a target humidity, and support a shutoff delay of up to 24 hours. The unit generally runs as often as needed to reach the target humidity or until the tank is full. The controls also permit running continuously, and an extra high mode — described as a way to dry nearby clothes. Because the unit can pull a lot of water out of the air, an output hose can bypass the tank to empty into a drain. I believe the hose can only send water downward by gravity: the drain essentially needs to be on the floor — like in a furnace room or bathtub — or the dehumidifier needs to be on a shelf above a sink.I downloaded the Tuya app before enabling Bluetooth and Location services on my phone. I then turned on the dehumidifier, and held the Power button for 5 seconds. A wifi icon lit up on the control panel, after which Tuya could search for a new device (ZY24P-01A) to add. After that I could turn off Bluetooth and Location. Even without registering my account, I am able to remotely adjust or monitor everything on the control panel. One extra benefit is seeing the air temperature remotely on my phone. Despite the convenience of the app, using it is completely optional, which itself is a very good feature for direct control. This dehumidifier is very effective at removing water from the air. It improves the air quality in the basement of my home. If I had known how well it works, I might have ordered one years ago.

First, I was pleased to find that this unit is ETL certified, as I try my best to only use electrical products that are certified for safety in Canada. I tried this unit in a couple locations in my house and it works great. When I first unboxed it, I just tried it in my home office and let it run for a few hours. It definitely took quite a bit of humidity out of the air, but being a small room, it definitely heated up the room.I then took it downstairs to my utility room. My basement has been smelling a little musty lately, so I wanted to give it a shot. I let it run for a few days and there has been a noticeable difference. While there is a tank that you can manually empty, I use the included hose and just run that into my sump pump basin. The wifi aspect isn’t really important to me, but I suppose it’s a handy feature. Overall, this unit works well and we’re happy with it.

I’ve been running this in my basement for the past two weeks and it’s made a huge difference. The humidity down there was getting out of control and I was starting to see condensation on the windows, but this cleared it up within a couple days. The tank fills up pretty regularly so I know it’s actually pulling moisture out of the air. It’s quieter than I expected. You can hear it running but it’s not distracting, just a low hum in the background. I set it to intelligent mode and it adjusts itself based on the humidity level, which is convenient because I don’t have to mess with it constantly. The digital display is easy to read and shows you the current humidity percentage. The wheels make it easy to move around when I need to empty the tank or clean behind it. The tank itself has a handle and comes out smoothly. I haven’t hooked up the continuous drain hose yet but it’s good to know that option is there if I want to set it and forget it. The app control is a nice bonus too, I can check on it from upstairs without having to go down there. For the price this does exactly what I needed it to do. My basement smells better and doesn’t feel clammy anymore. Would buy again if I needed another one for a different room.

The Pauvoern 90 Pint WiFi Dehumidifier is a compact unit. While I’d imagine it could be used in a 5000 sq. ft space as the listing claims, it’s much more suited to smaller areas. It’s not that the unit isn’t effective – it works as well as my much bigger De’Longhi, but its water tank is quite small, and if it is running non stop as it would in a larger space, you’ll be emptying it every 8 hours. The tank is easy to remove, and because it’s small – it doesn’t get heavy. It just slides out and I had no issues with the water spilling out, as the tank is not really full to the brim. There is a plastic cover on top of the tank that needs to be removed for cleaning, but it sits on pretty tightly, so for emptying I don’t bother taking it off.The device comes with a hose for bypassing the water tank and discharging directly to the drain – it’s worth considering if you using the unit in a place with a drain, but in most residential situations, that’s probably not an option.Compared to my larger dehumidifier this one is quiet. The fan is almost silent, and the main noise is made by the compressor. It sounds kind of like a fridge that just turned on. Easy to ignore among other noises, but I would not want to work right next to it.There are few different operation modes that can be chosen on the control panel. For me the automatic mode, the regular dehumidifier mode and a clothes drying mode are most useful. Automatic one, adjusts the fan speed according to the ambient humidity, regular one works until a specified humidity level is reached and the drying mode seems to boost the efficiency of the unit. I’m not sure about the last one, but when I hanged wet laundry next to the dehumidifier, it dried a lot faster than I would have expected. The unit has WiFi connectivity and is compatible with Tuya Smart app. My cat automatic litter box uses the same app, so I had it already set up. The app displays the current humidity and temperature, can switch operation modes and display a notification when the tank is full. It offers some convenience, but there is really no need to set up the WiFi feature. The dehumidifier has an Intertek ETL listed mark for the Canadian electrical safety certification.Overall, if you are looking for a small dehumidifier this is a decent choice. The 5000 square ft coverage claim by the manufacturer is definitely unrealistic, but despite its size this unit is capable, especially when directly connected to a drain. The biggest issue I have with it is obviously the small water tank – even in my small basement it require emptying every or every second day.

We’ve been running this in a larger space for about a week now and it’s made a noticeable difference!! Our air purifier has actually been signalling cleaner air since we started using it. The air doesn’t feel heavy in the basement (which is connected to the garage) and the usual dampness we’d get has gone way down. I love that I can check everything from my phone even though I really didn’t think I’d care about the WiFi feature (don’t think it would matter if I can see everything directly on the unit) but it’s actually super handy when I forget to turn it on before bed etc or want to check the humidity without going downstairs. It’s quieter than I expected for a big machine… more like background fan noise than a loud appliance (similar to our air purifier) so it doesn’t bother us when it’s running. Emptying the tank is simple… intuitive…Setup was quick, and it’s been really easy to live with day to day. So far, really happy with it. I can’t say whether it would work in a space that’s 5k square feet but in our basement that’s about 3.5k it’s been fantastic. Just to add… it’s quite heavy. My grandmother wanted one for her place and though she’s active etc she found this one to heavy for her to use as she herself wouldn’t be able to easily move it around if needed.
