Cute in a shabby chic sort of way, but absolutely needs a drainage hole to be functional for plants
I’m a knitter and the idea of a plant pot that looks like it was knit really appealed to me. It is a bit wonky, looks a little like it’s sagging, but with the big knit stitches it sort of has a handmade sack-around-a-plant look to it. I kind of like it and had originally planned to put it near my knitting area.The problems though are twofold 1) while the upper measurement is as stated in the listing 4.5 inches, the *opening* at the top is less than 3.5 inches across 2) there is no drainage hole. The measurement of the opening wouldn’t be a problem if there was a hole to let water out. The lack of a drainage hole wouldn’t be a problem if the upper opening was larger. However, with no drain hole AND the very small top opening makes it very difficult to use as a cache pot – any small plant pot you put in, drops to the bottom and is almost impossible to get out again and will drown in any water you put inside.As it is, I am going to have to drill a hole in it so I can use it as a planter and put one of my outdoor succulents in it at the beginning of the spring growing season.(A thought: it might make a cute pen/pencil/scissors/supplies container for a knitter – but note that it is concrete and heavy!)

A unique, substantial, and functional artistic pot planter.
Very happy to add this substantial planter to my collection. Anything but flimsy this molded concrete pot fits the dimensions given on site as does the color. Made to appear as woven fiber, such as rattan, this is a quality item. Perfect as an outer decor planter, suitable for both indoors and out, A utilitarian painter will fit inside nicely. This pot has texture and depth, adding to visual interest. There are no drainage holes, so it can be used in place of an under saucer, protecting furniture from water drainage. It also can be used to store or display items of your choice. This is not a lightweight piece, it will not slip or slide, and is not easy to dislodge. The cast was done with care leaving no unfinished edges or rough spits. With care this rotund planter will last indefinitely. Word of advice: bring in any concrete ( and stone) planter or statue for the colder months. Freeze and thaw is not good for longevity.A unique item, I think it’s worth the cost to add to my working decor.

I actually liked this in person even more than I expected. It does look woven, but it’s completely hard (which I like), so it’s not like it can’t get wet. It was a great addition to the plant I have in my bathroom that was still in it’s nursery pot.

Sturdy and attractive concrete plant pot
This concrete pot is very sturdy and heavy – it won’t be getting knocked over ever. It comes with three felt feet to keep the concrete from scratching the surface it is placed on, and is painted evenly so that it is uniformly green. The interior of the pot is very spacious so you can place a pot down inside without having the rim show. The woven texture adds softness to the piece without taking away strength. Overall this is a wonderful addition to our bedroom decor.

Cozy knitted texture makes this pot perfect for your cottagecore decor
I love he look of the plant pot! The pot looks like a knitted fabric and is very textured and pretty. It would make a beautiful addition to any cozy cottage core decor with its highly textured knitted appearance. The only downside is that there are no drainage holes and with the top opening being smaller it’s difficult to find an inner pot that will fit. But after some research I decided to use this for one of my snake plants because they tend to like drier soil and I can sprinkle water on soil to water and since it usually isn’t deeply watered the lack of drainage won’t hurt it. The pot is very heavy so I know it won’t tip over. This would also be great as a sort of vase for flowers or dried flowers. It’s a really beautiful vessel that would have lots of uses on your home.
