No more keys!
My last home had a push button entry and I was quickly spoiled. I bought this for my new place. It was easy to install and now I can come and go without worrying if I have my key or dig it out when I need to go in. Great value and makes life easier. Feels great and is good quality. Works amazingly and looks good too.

Find another lock
It has one job, and it can’t do it well. Often gives errors on locking and then refuses to unlock. I checked all clearances and there is nothing binding it to cause an issue. Troubleshooting offered no solution.Had a previous version of the same product, the quality comparatively has obviously dropped off. Full metal components have been swapped for plastic.

Good code/key lock for the price.
I’ve used several push button quick set deadbolts. I’ve had good success with most of them. This one works as it should, but is on the lower end of features (no smartphone access for instance). It installs easily, if you understand, installing deadbolts. It may not be as solidly built as the higher end ones, but it does the job. I’m satisfied with this purchase, and would purchase again.

Works but feels flimsy
My previous kwikset keypad lock quit working after nearly 10 years of heavy use so I went with the same for replacement. I’m unsure if the quality went down or I purchased an inferior version. It works okay and was easy to install however I cannot rekey it to match the other doors so now I have a different key for our front door. It’s also feels less sturdy with the plastic housing. There is also a limit on the codes so that you cannot have two codes that have the same starting number. If one code is 1234 then no other code can start with the number 1.

Just installed this new lock set on my house. Very easy to install and program. So far works great, time will tell.

Does not fit flush on my outer door metal plate to big for standard size hole on my metal door! !!! Also only came with one key !!!! Do not buy waste of money !!!

Easy physical install. Instructions are a little confusing when it comes to programming the lock. Does not come with batteries. Make sure you have brand new batteries and not install older ones or you may be spending way more time programming then installing.

Lock works well but only had 1 key and the mechanism may not be Kwikset although all the packaging and instructions were labelled Kwikset the mechanism inside is very plastic not the usual Kwikset quality.
