The very first, and most important is that their customer service is FANTASTIC !Yes I know, hearing that about an Amazon seller is amazing. They always return your calls and never rush you.Neglected one feature of this lock which may be important to certain people, it reads your hand and the veins in your hand to unlock the door. They say it’s much more reliable and more secure than Face ID, so that will remain to be seen, however the unlocking with the hand seems to work fine.Unfortunately, the first lock they sent had a defect in the fingerprint reader. Everything else seemed to work fine however not identifying your fingerprint was a major setback for me, so what they did was send me a new lock. I sent the old one back with a label provided, which was a big help!As an engineer, I can tell you without hesitation that this lock is designed beautifully. It has so many functions. It’s hard to believe that they are all in one lock.Fingerprint reader, key, accessible, code, palm/vein and a built-in doorbell. But what amazes me the most is that it has a built-in camera so you can see what’s happening outside your door. I haven’t yet found a lock that performs all the same functions so to me this lock may be very unique..The replacement lock arrived, they were on the phone with me for a half hour making sure that it was installed correctly and everything was working as it should. They definitely did not want me to receive another defective lock, but hey, what can I say this new lock works absolutely perfectly! The fingerprint reader is good as you can scan many fingerprints on it and they advise scanning different prints from your same person because sometimes a finger may be cut, a finger may be awkward to use so they advise scanning many of your fingers to be able to open the lock.The only negative quality, if you could call it negative is that the doorbell is just built into the front lock itself so all you do is hear the bell ring and answer the door. It does not forSend the information anywhere else or to your phone.As far as installation, it was fairly easy to install however, you have to be careful reading the instructions carefully, because if you make a mistake, the lock will not function as it should.I installed the first lock however, the second time I received the lock I had a Locksmith install it so I don’t have to bother again. He did a good job of installing it and now it’s working on the front door and I cannot complain.Discussing accessibility and installation, there were a few kinks for the installation, such as taking the wire out from the lock, putting it on the door frame and a magnet at the other end to discern if the door is truly closed. I really like that function because many times doors are closed just enough to register that they are closed however, this lock can’t do that since it has a magnetic switch showing open or closed door just like a standard alarm systemMy suggestion is if you want a full functional lock that does just about everything, purchase this lock and you won’t be sorry, plus they have the fantastic customer service so how can you lose?

Bonjour,Je vous écris pour exprimer ma profonde déception, ainsi que ma colère, à propos de la serrure connectée Lockin que j’ai achetée et qui n’a jamais fonctionné en Wi-Fi.Dès la première installation, il m’a été impossible de connecter la serrure à mon réseau, malgré le respect scrupuleux de toutes vos instructions. Avant même de contacter votre service après-vente, j’avais déjà testé toutes les pistes possibles :vérification du réseau 2,4 GHz,différents canaux et paramètres du routeur,essais avec et sans antenne,essais via la connexion hotspot d’un téléphone cellulaire afin d’éliminer tout doute concernant le routeur.Résultat : la serrure refusait toujours de se connecter, même via le téléphone, ce qui montre clairement que le problème ne vient pas de mon routeur.Lorsque j’ai finalement contacté votre SAV, j’espérais un minimum d’implication technique :assistance à distance,vérification des journaux de l’application,test par Bluetooth,ou toute autre forme de diagnostic sérieux.Au lieu de cela, on m’a répondu, par téléphone et par courriel, que la serrure n’était « tout bonnement pas compatible » avec mon routeur Wi-Fi et qu’il ne me restait qu’à la retourner pour être remboursé. Aucun véritable effort de dépannage n’a été tenté, alors même que je vous avais signalé des éléments importants (comme l’absence totale de différence avec ou sans antenne branchée) qui auraient dû vous mettre sur la voie d’un défaut de l’appareil.Pour couronner le tout, on m’a expliqué que, comme je suis au Canada, il serait « compliqué » pour vous de gérer le retour et les tests du produit aux États-Unis. C’est inacceptable. Ce n’est pas au client d’assumer la complexité de votre logistique interne, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit visiblement d’un produit défectueux.En résumé :j’ai acheté un produit qui ne fonctionne pas,j’ai passé un temps considérable à chercher des solutions,et votre service après-vente n’a absolument rien fait pour réellement diagnostiquer ou résoudre le problème, se contentant de me dire de renvoyer la serrure.Je considère cette façon de traiter les clients comme totalement non professionnelle et irrespectueuse.Je vous invite sérieusement à revoir vos procédures de support et la façon dont vous traitez vos clients, car, en l’état, je ne peux que déconseiller votre marque autour de moi.
