Feature-Rich Smart Lock with Multiple Reliable Unlock Options
After using this smart lock for several days, my overall impression has become very positive. The hardware feels solid, installation was straightforward, and day-to-day use has been smooth and reliable.The fingerprint reader continues to be excellent. It’s fast, consistent, and easily the quickest way to unlock the door. Facial recognition does work, but it takes a few seconds to register before unlocking. It feels more like a novelty compared to the fingerprint scanner, but it’s still functional and works as advertised. With some software refinement, I can see it becoming even better over time.What really sets this lock apart is how many different ways it gives you to unlock the door. You can use a passcode, fingerprint scan, or facial recognition depending on your preference. For remote access, you can create a digital key and send it to someone, allowing them to unlock the door using an iPhone or Apple Watch. This worked well in my testing and would be especially useful for situations like short-term rentals, guests, or maintenance access.While there were a few minor software quirks early on, they improved with continued use, and I would expect future updates to address typical early product issues. Even as it stands now, the combination of strong hardware, reliable fingerprint access, built-in Wi-Fi, and flexible access options makes this an impressive smart lock.Overall, this is a well-designed and enjoyable product to use. The range of unlocking methods alone makes it stand out, and despite some room for software polish, it earns a full five stars.

Incedible lock that installed painlessly
After my wife and I couldn’t remember if we locked the front door for the thousandth time I decided to get a smart lock. And I think I might have stumbled on the smartest one out there. Starting with the packaging, this kit is very well thought out–it has the parts needed for standard doors but also for thick ones and ones with longer distances from the edge of the door to the handle. There’s even a template if you are cutting the holes for a brand new door. The instructions are excellent and it’s clear they approached them for a novice. If you do get lost the company makes it easy to contact them for support. In my case, with a standard door, everything went together without any issues. The only hitch I had was after stuffing some wiring back into the mechanism before sealing it up, when I manually operated the lock it felt like it was getting stuck on something. I assumed it was the wiring I had just stuffed back in. I took it apart and noticed that even apart it was catching so I decided to just proceed. Once I calibrated the lock, everything operated smoothly. I downloaded the app, created an account, paired with the lock and started adding passcodes, fingerprints and even facial recognition. It all went smoothly and the facial recognition is truly a game changer (you can see it in operation in the video). I even hooked it up to Alexa so I can simply say “Alexa, lock the front door” if I’m laying in bed and can’t remember if the door is locked. Lastly, the lock looks great and is smaller than the old number-pad-only lock it replaced. Overall, this is a powerful and tech-loaded device that was shockingly easy to install and operate. And it comes with a second (proprietary) battery so I should never run out of power.
