Easy to install, works better than expected
I had recently replaced an old 2-U fluorescent with a Lithonia CPANL 2×2 and found it to be a bit too bright. While this dimmer isn’t listed as compatible by either Lutron or Lithonia, other LED+ family dimmers are listed.Pros:- The “scan the QR to get install instructions” is the best I’ve seen. There is a simple wizard to navigate based on whether its 1-gang or multi-gang and single pole or 3-way. Its short, to the point, and large enough to easily see/understand on a small phone screen. Its better than Ikea assembly pictograms as it has actual .. instructions.- Wide dim range with separate toggle, works with existing/regular switchplates.- Installed in literally 10 minutes in a 3-way single gang.- Dims the CPANL down to almost nothing and can be trimmed all the way down and light still turns on (a couple seconds delay) with no flicker.- No buzzing noises from dimmer or light.Cons:- 150W LED limit is a bit low. However it should work for most retrofit uses because 150W LED replaces 1000-1500W of incandescent. Larger loads in new construction should probably use 0-10V dimming.

A good buy and works well
The switch was easy to install and feels and looks pretty sturdy. This is the first time I’ve bought this style of dimmer and I’m happy with how well it works. I especially like the ability to adjust the low end dimming so the lowest setting still allows for a slight glow from my LED dimmable bulbs. There is no flicker at the lowest setting – it functions extremely well. It has been very consistent with the dimming levels each time I turn it on. It’s a good switch and worth the price.

Works just as designed with LED bulbs that are also dimmer rated
I’ve used this in an overhead kitchen fixture, and in a bathroom fixture where I wanted to be able to dim the main lights at night, and it works well. They have added a QR code to watch an install video to make sure you can wire it in. You should have basic electrical skills before doing this; if you do not have such skills, I would strongly recommend you search out some youtube videos on household wiring and installing switches prior to purchasing this. There is also a small blue adjustment range toggle to adjust the “range” of dimming on the main face of the switch. Be sure to use this prior to putting a faceplate back on the switch to see the trigger point where your LED bulbs will activate; some don’t come on if the voltage is too low. Also, if dimming LED bulbs, be sure they are “dimmer rated”, or you could have negative effects like visible strobing or overheating. If you are unsure if the bulbs are dimmer rated, then perhaps consider getting new ones that you know are, and moving the old bulbs to a fixture that will never use a dimmer.

Quality electrical component.
When purchasing electrical items for your home you don’t want to risk buying cheap, off brand junk for reasons that should be evident. These dimmers are from a known manufacturer of quality electric products. They are easy for DIY installation if you follow the directions. Most importantly, ALWAYS MAKE CERTAIN POWER IS OFF ON THE CIRCUIT YOUR WORKING ON!! It’s simply enough to turn off the correct breaker. My only very minor complaint is that the dimmer slide is small for my huge hands but it works well. The price is good and shipping is quick.

Works great
Works perfectly, no buzzing, wide dimming range and I love the precision adjustment it allows for the lower dimming range. It was easy to install and just works. I also like that it fits in the existing cover and is not obtrusive. If I need another, I’ll get one of these. If you have difficulty with small switches though, it’s not for you. Ex. I wouldn’t get these for someone with arthritis. The sliding switch is small and probably would be hard for them if they had to move it a lot.

Dimmer switch without a need for a new faceplate
This dimmer switch was easy to install and saves a little money in that you don’t need another switch plate. So long as your existing light switch is white, this will color match your current decor fine. The dimmer switch is small but effective, but I am unable to turn it up to the max setting without my overhead LEDs starting to blink, so I keep it about 90% and that works ok. One problem with this type of dimmer switch is when you go to “slap” the switch on or off, you can easily catch the dimmer too. So you might get flash-banged when you are not expecting it, or you might be blacked out when you think you turned the switch on, and you might mistake it for a blown fuse or bulbs. This is a compromise of a dimmer switch; it’s not perfect, but it can work for different needs. For my garage lights, it works fine. I might upgrade to a different model in the future to avoid the issues I describer above. But for $23, this does the job without needing additional supplies.

This is a great option as an alternative to rocker style dimmers. I was able to keep my original wall plates. The slider works great. The switch and slider are plastic so use caution when installing. The parts seem vulnerable until installed and covered by the wall plate.
