Elegant smart thermostat
I love the look of this smart thermostat. Directions were straight forward download the app and it walks to through the the whole process. I just set it up so still making sure the settings are accurate but seems great so far. At least I know the oil air works and just as I am finishing that thought the heat kicked in. I live in a rental townhome and I switches it out and will swap back and take with to my next place. I like having the app so you can change the settings if you forget when you leave home. Just started using so will update on the accuracy of the thermostat. I didn’t notice if it had a battery might but didn’t notice. I like all the functions the app has to offer home away and sleep. Seems like a very nice accurate thermostat I’ll update if I notice any issues. Prices just right.

May not work with garage heater.
I tried using this in my garage. I have a ng heater that works with other smart thermostat. I had to make sure to get 4 wires so if you have a 2 wire setup like most. Get another strand or replace with a 4 wire. It was easy to setup and wire and the product seems to be decent quality but I cant control my setup for some reason. It wont function and gives me an error. If installing in the home it should be al lot easier with the wires already there but its odd that I couldn’t get it working with the garage heater. Will reach out and update what I hear back

Change the temp without leaving your seat
This unit was easy to install. You just match the colored wires to their spots and you are ready to go. It has great looks (we got the mirrored) and the size is perfect. Big enough to see, but small enough to not be in the way.Now the best part. You can sit in your chair and turn the heat up/down. Working with Alexa means you change the thermostat with your voice. No more getting up to turn the heat up. I worry that it might be too convenient and we will be going up and down too often. It does take time for things the even out when you turn the heat up/down, so waiting awhile would be easier on your HVAC equipment.It is fall/winter here in MN, so I am looking forward to the spring/summer and uses this thermostat with the AC. In MN, you might need the heat in the morning and the AC in the afternoon. This thermostat will allow you to change without getting up

This is great to change out my thermostat
I am not comfortable changing out my own thermostat all though I could because the instructions are easy to follow and I am very familiar with how to wire one of these. I had a thermostat go bad and my son and I figured it out, mostly. There is always that one little thing that you either lost the part or wasn’t obvious in the instructions or package.I think I will have someone more professional handle this for me.This has a large easy to read display too.The only thing I have not figured out, is can I use it without the app. I don’t have Alexa and I have never used google assistant so that will also be a learning curve. I did ask RUFUS and it say there is both a touch pad feature and child lock. That is great news for me because I really don’t need another app on my phone.Thumbs up great find.

Beyond Convenience
My favorite feature about this thermostat, is that it has an air filter reminder. I can’t tell you how many times I forget to change my air filter and I usually remember when it’s too late and I’m itchy. This eliminates that problem for me and I couldn’t be happier. I also love the black look. The mirror one is cool, but for my home, the black just goes better. I love that I can be away from home and still have access to my thermostat over my phone. I absolutely love that about this thermostat. The numbers are displayed large enough for anyone to see them without a problem, that’s including the elderly. Installation was straightforward. Just make sure that your house is compatible. It’s a highly functional and well priced product for your home. A true value for your money.

Great quality
I really wanted this to work for my home, but unfortunately, my older wiring has a bad C-wire connection, and I’m just not equipped to run a new line. That being said, I was very impressed with the unit itself upon unboxing.The build quality feels high-end and solid, not cheap or flimsy. It comes with absolutely everything you need, including a wall plate and surprisingly well-written instructions, which is rare these days. If your wiring is compatible, this is an excellent value for a smart thermostat that looks this good. Just double-check your C-wire first!
