Great lock
This is a great lock. Super easy to install. Had a little trouble when pairing, which was my fault, but I called customer service and Erin was fantastic. She walked me through it and was very patient and very helpful. 5 stars on both!! Now we can use fingerprint, pin, key or app to unlock.

Love that it comes with an app
Big upgrade to my back entry. Makes entering the house with arms full of bags so much easier with using the app rather than searching for keys. I ordered the black matte color lock and I love it. Shame it didn’t come with the matching door knob as a complete set. This is a really decent quality lock for the price and im quite pleased with it and the ease of using both the lock and the app.

It’s okay…
This smart lock is just okay in my opinion. The build quality doesn’t seem great. It feels pretty cheaply made, but it does do the job. Installation wasn’t bad, just follow the instructions. There’s sometimes a slight delay with unlocking, but it’s not enough to be an issue yet. What I really don’t care for is that it uses 8 AA batteries. That’s a lot of batteries. They do last a long time, but these days we are used to things taking fewer batteries or being rechargeable so 8 feels like a lot. I only use the dial pad function because the fingerprint sensor on these locks are so-so at best.

Outstanding smart lock system
I installed the Smart Lock on my side door and it has improved my home security experience. From setup to daily use, everything about this lock screams quality and convenience. To start with, installation was a breeze with clear instructions and also link to installation video which was very helpful. Then time for App, it was so simple. Open app, enable Bluetooth, it will find the device and then on it was very simple instructions to setup pin, finger prints etc. I loved the notifications which pop up on your device when the lock and opened and how it was opened (manually, pin code, which pin code was used, finger print and so on). This is definitely value for money and highly recommend it.

Easy to install and use. Cannot be re-keyed
This was very easy to install and came with excellent instructions. There is one booklet for installation and one for use, and both are very detailed and easy to follow. There are tons of options for use. You can do everything through the app, use your pin, use the included key (it would be nice if I could re-key it with my old key, hence only 4 stars), or even program fingerprints. I like that it also auto-locks if you walk away from it for a bit, but that probably wouldn’t work on our crappy door, since you have to pull it shut while locking it. The app is easy to install and use as well. Our goal is a completely keyless house to make it easier for family and contractors to get in as needed.

Simple to install and program
I have another smart lock that I love, but it was exceptionally difficult to install and complicated to set up. This Veise one, on the other hand, is just a nice, simple, small profiled lock with cut and dry installation and operation. You’d install it basically like any door handle. Add 8 AA batteries. Then use the included user manual to program the lock. It is set up using an app I haven’t heard of before, but then it can be paired with Alexa or Google Home (which means it can be paired with Apple Home via a bridge).Spare keys are included in case you get locked out for some reason.
