Simple installation and use. Amazing product
The thermostat looks amazing and the installation was super simple. After getting all the wires in, it connected to the internet super easy and was added to the Meross app and my Apple Home app. I can control the temperature from anywhere, set up schedules, and share control with my roommates. It was compatible with my system, and runs great.

A Simple, Reliable Thermostat Without the Gimmicks
Installed it a few days ago and it’s been solid. I’ve avoided Wi-Fi thermostats for years, but this one felt worth trying. It’s not a “smart” or “learning” model, which is exactly what I wanted. Once it’s online, you set a schedule and it just runs.Setup was straightforward. The app walks you through it step by step. You do need a basic sense of your HVAC wiring, but nothing complicated. It looks good on the wall and the included backer plate covered the old screw holes.Getting it onto my Wi-Fi took a couple attempts, but that was my firewall, not the thermostat. Once I fixed the network rules, it connected without any issues.The app itself is simple to use. I also added it to Apple Home with the Matter QR code, which gives you the basics inside Apple’s interface.The advanced controls are a nice bonus. You can fine-tune how stages 1, 2, and aux heat behave, and you can set a temperature cutoff for the heat pump. The defaults are fine, but it’s great to have the extra control if you want it.Overall, I’m happy with it. No learning features, no surprises — I set the temps I want and let it run.

Thermostat works exactly as it should, perfectly!
This thermostat works perfectly. Manufacturer response and support is excellent. Thermostat build quality is superb and the phone app is well designed and integrates nicely allowing full control. No issues at all.The physical fitment to its wall mount is easy and simple to plug in or unplug and the electrical connections fit perfectly. Much better than other units I own including the Honeywell for example. Wires attach to base via spring loaded levers, then the unit slips easily right onto the base and remains firmly in place. The device has a simple but elegant appearance, blending in nicely on the wall with the surroundings. I needed an upgraded unit that interfaces with my Apple smart home and now I can control my HVAC with Siri voice commands as well as using the phone app or touch control on the unit itself.Integration to my WiFi was straightforward. Like any smart home device that operates on 2.4GHz WiFi spectrum, the key to successful first time install is to setup a 2.4GHz network (I.e. temporarily disable 5 and 6 GHz) to ensure your phone actually connects on the 2.4GHz band only. Then the install will go smoothly.This smart home product works well and has good support from the manufacturer. For that reason, I’ll plan to search for other Meross products for my future needs.

This is a good basic smart thermostat.What I like:1) It has Matter. Easy to integrate into Homekit and Home Assistant2) Gives you multiple schedules to enable by day and time.3) I like the Meross app. It has a good design and is easy to adjust the temperature.4) it has a usage dashboard that displays the time the system was on heating and cooling. I’m a bit of a data junky so I like seeing the amount of time the system is on. You can use the date to predict your heating and cooling cost for the month.5) I like the added backplate bezzel. Looks good and covers some of the imprefections (like the screw holes from my prior thermostat).What I didn’t like that much:1) installing was easy but the back plate where the wires are routed are small. It was a bit troublesome but not a deal breaker.2) The display is basic but easy to navigate, I just wish it could be brighter. I changed the settings to the brightest settings on active and standby but I think brighter would be better.Overall, it’s a good purchase and I’ll be keeping it.

Seamless Integration with Home Assistant and Meross Ecosystem! Perfect Thermostat for Any Home!
Installed the Meross Smart Thermostat earlier this week, and setup was incredibly easy and it connected to Home Assistant very easily and integrated perfectly with my Meross smart light switches in their app. The design is clean and modern, temperature control is accurate, and the app makes scheduling simple. It responds instantly to adjustments from my phone or voice commands, and everything just works seamlessly together. For the price, it’s an excellent smart thermostat that fits right into an existing Meross ecosystem or really any matter comparable ecosystem!

I have been happy with this thermostat. First off, I really liked the design of it and the trim plate it came with really helped it to look great. The design can feel very minimalist with some settings adjustments which I really liked, I could reduce brightness when not using the wall monitor as well as display only the temperature.I came from a likely 12 year old Honeywell thermostat that was bulky and ugly. It fits beautifully to my place and I decided to buy another one since I have two machines at home.Beyond the aesthetics, the thermostat is highly functional. I finally got options to set a schedule and more importantly adjusting temperature with automations or over my phone. There’s also a set of advanced settings that allow to further customize for example even when you want auxiliary heating to be used which is perfect if you want to avoid certain costs.Installing it was not complicated, definitely it required confirming where certain wires would go but the Meross instruction was very helpful. One thing that LOVED and I wish I had taken a picture is that the inside of it where you connect the wires has a small tube that helps you level it to make sure it’s perfectly straight on the wall!I think it is a great value for the price it cost and the functions it brings and asthetics.

The installation was straightforward, but be aware that you *do* need a C-wire for it to power on. I have been using the Nest thermostat for years. It worked fine at first but over 3 years recently it became a problem. Mine died after about three years and it was frustrating and no more support from nest. It also felt too complicated. It had many settings that I never used so decided to change to something differnt and that’s how I came across meross.I decided to try this new mirror style thermostat and the difference surprised me. The setup was simple. The display is clear and easy to read. It looks clean on the wall and feels modern. I learned how to use it in minutes. There are no confusing menus or extra features that get in the way.I have been using it for about two weeks now and it has been great. The learning mode works better than what I had before. My HVAC runs smoother and the on and off cycles feel more controlled. I can see that it is using less energy too. The temperature stays steady and the house feels more comfortable.The app is easy to use. It connects without issues. It works with HomeKit and Alexa with no trouble. The schedule setup is simple and helps save energy. I also like that it does not require a subscription to unlock features.After dealing with a dead Nest, this feels like a huge upgrade. I wish I should have bought it on Black Friday but can’t make my home into an igloo without a thermostat. But I am happy purchase and its is solid and that too from reliable Brand like Meross.
