Lots of power with a very small footprint. Also very quite, and the company is great at honoring their 5 year warranty!
I bought both sizes of Pure Enrichment Dehumidifiers. The small one for my closet, and this mid-sized one for my bathroom. For some strange reason, my house was designed with no fans in the bathrooms. So, whenever you took a shower, you had to be really careful to open both the door and window afterwards to let the moisture escape. When I moved in, it looked apparent that whoever lived here before, probably forgot to do this more than once; you could see that certain parts of the walls and ceiling had been opened up, most likely to fix the damage. Also, my shower had what looked like black mold coming out of it.Anyways, getting past describing my gross sounding bathroom situation. I decided to get a dehumidifier to fix this problem. I put this little guy in the bathroom and let it go to work. The amount of moisture it pulled at first didn’t quite seem like it was as much as I would expect. It definitely seemed better than without it being in there at all, but I noticed that the small one in the closer was pulling noticeably more. My bathroom was definitely more moist on a regular basis in comparison to the closet. I guess you could say, that I was less so happy with this mid-sized model than I was with the smaller one, but I figured that maybe I received a defect, so I contacted the company.I explained what I had noticed in an email to the company and asked what they could do for me. I was promptly answered, and a new unit was shipped out to me right away. I didn’t have to pay to ship the old one back, so it was not a hassle what so ever.Moving on, my new unit works perfectly. My bathrooms are completely dry even if i use it on the low setting. I sometimes switch over to the high setting to speed up the process. Both settings are extremely quite and the dehumidifier does not give off an excessive amount of heat. I have used much larger dehumidifiers in the past, and have noticed that they draw ALOT more power and will inadvertently act as a heater in smaller spaces (whether you want them to or not). Personally, I did not want my dehumidifier to act as a heater what so ever… I have central air, and that would just confuse the system’s sensors.Oh yea, one last thing I will mention. I was well out of the return window when I contacted the company about my unit’s functionality. I’m pretty sure the original one I received was defective right off the bat, but it still worked to some degree, so I didn’t rush to get it replaced. Eventually, I decided to monitor the difference in amounts of water the mid-sized one pulled in comparison to the small one in the closet, and that is when I finally contacted the company. So this was an actual warranty replacement, they didn’t just send me a new one because amazon requires sellers to honor return windows. Thanks Pure Enrichment for making great products and being a pleasure to do business with.

Worked for 6 months, but sill under warranty. Second one lasted 4 months.
Used it in my teen’s bathroom. Long hot showers were making the room musty smelling. Worked pretty well for 6 months. Now it’s totally dead. Guess it’s time to look for a different brand. UPDATE – Months after writing this review, I was contacted through mail by Pure Enrichment that my unit was still under warranty. After a brief call to their support line, I had a new unit shipped to me. So far so good. Back to pulling moisture out of a teen’s bathroom.***UPDATE*** Second unit had the same fate as the first. Too bad their product is not as good as their customer service. Electronic switch fails and renders the unit worthless.

Try it in a very high humidity environment before concluding it doesn’t work!
I bought one for my small bathroom that doesn’t have a fan. It worked initially, then seemed to stop working. I would run it while showering and it never collected any water. Eventually I contacted the company and they sent me another. Initially, I thought they had sent another broken one, because I ran it for hours and it collected no water. Today, however, it is very humid and rainy outside, and we had windows open. I decided to try again, and low and behold, it collected water! In fact, both did. Neither were broken, they just needed a higher level of humidity and (maybe) a longer running time to actually collect a visible quantity of water. Worth keeping in mind before concluding yours isn’t working, maybe?

Works great. A powerhorse dehumidifier!
Working well and a low sound. So much better than the horrible damp-rid with severe toxic chemicals and smell!Jan 31, 2020Follow up- I dropped the unit on Christmas Day and the water tank broke. I called Amazon and then the company providing the unit. I called to ask if a replacement tank was available. They sent me a replacement unit at no charge. Really great customer service!!! It is humming away. I use it about ever other night and works well!June 2020. The exceptional Customer Service Dept had advised to call them back this year if I did not hear from them to see if they had a water tank that I could use with the machine that works fine but had the broken water tank that was my fault! They do not so they are sending me a new one! Can you beleive this? Above and beyond any customer service help that ever existed! The dehumidifier still works great and now I will have two. Well needed in South Florida! I recommend this company highly and you will be a happy customer!

Product Quit after one Year.
Originally, we purchased the product due to its price and 5 year warranty. Small and efficient unit with a large enough tank to change out every 3 weeks. We really like that. However, the product completely quit working after one year. It was a hassle to find any warranty information on the product and finally had to revert to Amazon to honor the warranty.Since then, we have replaced this unit every year due to a mechanical malfunction. Each unit lasted less than one year. We are on our 3rd replacement unit. Fortunately, the company, Pure Enrichment, has honored the warranty every single time and has sent us a free replacement each time with a new 5 year warranty. We would be a lot happier if the unit continued to work all the way through it’s 5 year life period. The company is great in its customer service and honoring the warranty; however, the product itself is inferior.

I bought (Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe Dehumidifier) for my small bathroom (45 square feet) that doesn’t have a fan. I would run it (high speed setting) while showering and 4 hours after. It would collect only a few drop of water. The bathroom is full of humidity. It is pretty quiet even on it’s high setting. It’s not going to work for me (waste of money)

Great product to begin with to dry clothing and dehumidify rooms. Unfortunately, after 18 months the product no longer works. We have tried various outlets to determine if it was an issue with our home’s electrical and reinsert the water container but nothing works. For the price and the longevity, I would not recommend this product.
