Love it!
This is my first electronic lock and I really like it. It’s very functional and worth the price. Keyless entry has saved me many times when I step out without my keys and I love the fingerprint capability. I also love that it’s not connected to wifi and it’s just a lock – not every home appliance needs to be ‘smart’! It fit perfectly into the space for my previous lock and installation was very simple. I’ve already recommended it to my friend.

*I’m increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars because the company reached out to me and apologized for the problems I was having. First they offered a refund, then ignored that offer, sent a new unit instead. If they had provided the refund they initially offered I would have given 5 stars for excellent customer service in standing by their product. I would suggest to the company not to offer a refund then ignore it! I do consider myself lucky though to even get a replacement unit since I was well beyond the 30 day return window. So many others weren’t so lucky. Hopefully this new unit will perform better!————————This was great at first. It seems well made, is fairly easy to install (but we have done quite a few in the past), looks good, has simple controls and clear, easy to press manual buttons. But it locks way too fast and we have tried making the waiting time longer but it always seems to reset back to the minimum which is like five seconds, and the sequence of codes you have to enter to program this thing are ridiculous. If we don’t immediately close the door it will go crazy trying to lock over and over. It’s so annoying. It should have a bypass button, especially when you’re going to be in and out a lot working in the yard, etc. I was going to buy another one for our other door but not now.I want to note that we haven’t experienced the battery issues so many other reviewers have mentioned, and we’ve never been locked out due to malfunction!

I have another similar TEEHO lock on my shop door and liked it so I purchased this one with the fingerprint reader for the front door of our home. This lock is easy to install and so far works well. The programming is straightforward and allows for multiple codes and even one time codes. I’ve only had this installed for a week so durability is still unknown although the lock on my shop is about a year old and still works great.

Initial confusion but good product UNTIL IT WASN’T
***Initial Post—Things have changed!I am a typical man. I installed the lock reading little of the directions provided. When I got the lock installed I could not get the bolt to turn the right way. I thought it may have been an obstruction but it wouldn’t move when the door was open. Turns out, all I needed to do was reset it. It is one of the last parts of the directions. Took me two days thinking about it and trying to figure it out. It is now installed and working great!09-26-2024I purchased this item in Jan of 2023. As read above, I had trouble with the installation as there was a technical issue within the electronics itself. Installation was sufficient. Once installed, lock worked fine. About a month ago my batteries ran out for the first time. I quickly replaced the batteries with top of the line Duracell lithium batteries only to have them die 3 days later. I thought it was odd and that may Duracell wasn’t as good as a battery as it was priced. I finished out the pack of Duracell batteries and consistently had that problem so my thoughts about Duracell as a brand continued as I remembered that I had EverReadys in there prior to the initial battery change and they had lasted a long time. So I went back and bought the same type of battery I had before. 3 days later, batteries are dead. I reached out to Teeho for help and they gave me a list of things to do. The last on the list was to send them a picture of the battery holder without batteries so I followed the steps and it still didn’t work. I sent over the picture and the response was basically they were sorry it stopped working but since it had been over a year since I purchased it there was nothing they could do. They did offer me a $10 refund but It felt more like a slap in the face. According to the reviews it seems that most of the locks work (at least initially) but for the ones that are faulty, Teeho does not stand behind them. It’s a “we have our money, good luck.”

Extra security is always good. This meets this need

Picked out this lock because of the price (was on sale) – but also because I appreciated the simple functionality and look. Had it for about a week now and so far I’m loving it!Installation was very easy – just a screwdriver needed to swap out some screws. (I’ve never changed a deadbolt out before). The instructions that come with it are pretty easy to follow along with to get it set up for the first time. Only took a few minutes.I love that you can program it to have multiple codes, as well as multiple fingerprints. The fingerprint reader works very well – always registering first try and opening very quickly. Super helpful for the kids so they don’t need to carry a key, remember codes, or even have to wrestle with getting the reader to work.Deadbolt turns very smoothly – and this is actually one of the quietest electronic locks I’ve ever had/used. When I turn the beeping/sound function off – I can barely hear that it’s unlocking for me.The construction of the device is decent – but matches the price point. Thin metal exterior, and all plastic interior. My understanding is that there are some spool pins in the tumbler to provide some resistance to quick picking.So far, I’m very happy with this choice. Function wise – I love it way more than all of the more expensive electronic locks I’ve had on homes. We’ll have top wait and see how long it takes before breaking down!
